CHERRY TWP — The Moniteau School Board on Monday night approved a change in the district calendar to have classes on April 6 instead of having a vacation day.

That is a make up day for the district being closed for snow.

It has been closed eight days due to weather. To compensate, students will have classes on the five snow days already scheduled, which are March 30 and 31, April 1 and 2 and May 22, and now on April 6.

Superintendent George Svolos said make up time for the other two days will be announced later.

The high school graduation day, June 4, will not change.
