Mildred Gallagher Godot
Mildred Gallagher Godot, 89, of Butler passed away Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born on Jan. 7, 1926, in Great Belt, she was a daughter of the late Henry Gallagher and Cecelia Kriley Gallagher.
She and her husband were the original owners of Godot's Dairy Bar on Freeport Road from 1962 through 1979.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
Surviving are her two sons, Gary L. (Karen) Godot and Lester S. (Sharon) Godot, both of Butler; her daughter, Sandy Godot Rosenbauer of Pittsburgh; her brother, Raymond (Beverly) Gallagher of Butler; her sister, Dorothy (Clyde) Fennell of Great Belt; her four grandchildren, Kimberly (Scott) Birckbichler, Steven (Autum) Godot, Rachele (Matt) Wachob, and Jenea Godot Shaner, and her five great-grandchildren, Jenna, Lauren, Allison, Ryan, and Riley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Regis A. Godot, whom she married on Oct. 9, 1946, and who died on March 16, 1996; her three brothers, and her sister.
Godot — The friends of Mildred Gallagher Godot, who passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, with the Rev. Kevin Fazio officiating.
