Nona E. Moore Hoffman
Nona E. Moore Hoffman, 90, formerly of Cranberry Township, went to be with her Lord on Sunday.
Born on Oct. 13, 1924, in Hamilton, N.C., she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Frances Beach Moore.
She was a member of the Dutilh United Methodist Church of Cranberry Township.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winfield L. Hoffman, on Dec. 15, 2001; her two infant sons; her two brothers, James and Grady Moore; and her sister, Martha Frances Moore Gates.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Evergreen Nursing Center for the loving care that was provided.
Nona is survived by her daughter, Carol (David) McKinnis of Evans City; her grandson, David L. McKinnis and his fiancee, Missy Zigler, of Harmony; her stepgrandchildren, Morgan and Ryan; her nephews, Wade (Michelle) Hoffman of Arizona and Deck Hartzell and his family; and her many nieces and nephews in North Carolina and Mississippi.
Hoffman — The friends of Nona E. Moore Hoffman, who passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Dutilh United Methodist Church in Cranberry Township. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.
