Charles H. 'Chuck' Kradel
Charles H. “Chuck” Kradel, 64, of Butler passed away at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born on June 30, 1950, in Butler, to the late Howard Kradel and Amelia Orlando Kradel.
Chuck was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, stationed in Florida.
He worked at Pullman Standard, then was a professional truck driver for Refiners and later Traco, now known as Alcoa.
Chuck was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and playing with his beloved pets, Lucie, Gracie and Maddie. He especially enjoyed being with his family.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Patty L. Kradel, whom he married on May 8, 1976; his son, Todd Kradel and his fiancee, Sara Bono, of Butler; his daughter, Chelsie Kradel of Butler; his sister, Linda Sue Wiles and her husband, Al, of East Butler; his two nieces, Tracie Williams and Caitlin Crouse, and his four nephews, Chad Wiles and Tyler, Spencer and Fletcher Crouse.
Kradel— The friends of Charles H. “Chuck” Kradel, who passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Alden Towberman of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
