Timothy Smith

Timothy Evan Smith, 50, of Butler passed away suddenly Saturday.

He was born on May 24, 1964, in Butler, the son of the late Jesse E. and Dorothy Noel Smith.

Tim enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, hunting and playing softball.

He was an avid Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, sons and grandson.

He currently was working at AK Steel and formerly at Napco for 20 years.

He was a member of the Christ Community United Methodist Church and the American Legion 117. He had attended Butler County Community College.

Surviving are his wife, Stella Smith Smith of Butler; his two sons at home, Zachary Evan Smith and Tanner Allen Smith; his grandson, Maverik Zayden; his two sisters, Donna Thompson of New York and Kim (Dan) Bosko of Butler; his five brothers, Jeffrey (Cindy) Smith of New York, Gary (Mary Lou) Smith of Erie, Dan (Judy) Smith of Butler, George (Patty) Smith of Butler, and Mike (Cindy) Smith of Maryland; his mother-in-law and stepfather-in-law, Lin and Glen Pugh of Butler; his father-in-law, Cloyd Smith Sr. of Butler; his sister-in-law, Debra Reep of Butler; his two brothers-in-law, Frank (Allison) Smith of Harrisburg and Cloyd (Erin) Smith Jr. of Kentucky, and his numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Smith, and his two infant brothers, Benjamin and Jesse Smith.

Smith — The friends of Timothy Evan Smith, who passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at theYoung Funeral Home, 127 W.
