David Hauser

David G. Hauser, 71, of Butler passed away Sunday at his home following a brief illness.

David was born on Jan. 27, 1943, in Butler. He was the son of the late David Hauser and Margaret Stupar Hauser.

He was a Catholic.

David was a graduate of Moniteau High School, and he was employed at Magnetics for more than 44 years, where he was a rolling mill operator.

David enjoyed life, car racing, hunting, fishing, Jimmy’s Camp, motorcycle rides, traveling, casinos, poker night and going to his camp in Knox.

David is survived by his wife, Marion “Betsy” Boettner Hauser, who he married on Sept. 12, 1987; his daughter, Karen (Don) Ramsey of McKees Rocks; his son, David P. “Brub” (Heather) Hauser of Butler; his grandson, Zachary Edwards; his granddaughter, Lauren M. Hauser; and his great-granddaughter, Grayson Rose O’Loughlin. Also surviving are his sister, Nancy Moran and her husband, Claude, of Butler; his sister-in-law, Judy (Chuck) Miller; his two brothers-in-law, Bill (Linda) Boettner and Dick (Sue) Boettner; and several nieces and nephews.

Hauser— The friends of David G. Hauser, who passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.A blessing service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Father James Bedillion of the St. Alphonsus Parish officiating.
