Helen L. Lukosky
Helen Louise Lukosky of Cabot died peacefully Saturday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler.
Born Oct. 14, 1917, in Monongahela to Steven and Anna (Kornucik) Karlo, she later moved to Creighton and graduated from Ken High School in 1935.
She went on to work a variety of jobs, but her favorite was that of mother and grandmother.
She married her husband, Leon, in 1947.
She was a devout Catholic and belonged to St. Joseph parish in Cabot.
Helen was an avid bingo player and enjoyed going on bus tours.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and her siblings John, Steve, Mary, Kate and Rose.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda (Frank) Woiewodski of Lower Burrell; and her grandchildren, Leanne and Christopher.
LUKOSKY — Friends of Helen Louise Lukosky, who died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian will be celebrated Tuesday at a time yet to be determined at the St. Joseph R.C.
