Patricia Hutchens Bacher, 85, formerly of Butler, passed away Dec. 28 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews, N.C., following a brief illness.

She was the daughter of the late George and Stella Hutchens.

Mrs. Bacher is survived by her daughter, Mary Elizabeth “Missy” George.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Bacher; her infant son; and her brothers, William and George Hutchens.
