Linda L. Doughty

Linda L. Doughty, 64, of Butler passed away peacefully Monday at her home in the comfort of her family.

Born on March 15, 1950, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Elvie Lahti Garcia.

Linda was a graduate of Knoch High School.

She worked at Pullman Standard and Max C. Smith.

She was a member of the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church. A homemaker, devoted wife and mother, Linda enjoyed fine dining and spending quality time with her family. Her favorite pastimes were enjoying her grandchildren and vacationing at her beach house in Hilton Head, S.C.

To her family, she was a thoughtful and caring mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Linda experienced many hurdles in her life. She would want to be remembered for her tenacity and joy to live.

Surviving are her loving husband, Charles Doughty, who she married on Sept. 25, 1971; her daughter, Christie (Robert) Pierce of Harmony; her three grandchildren, Emily, Luke and Lydia Pierce; her sister, Nina (David) Petrosky of Saxonburg; her niece, Melanie (Chris) Durish of Meridian; and her nephew, Mark (Cathie) Petrosky of Saxonburg.

Doughty— The friends of Linda L. Doughty, who passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at theFox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Cedolia officiating.
