A Butler man is accused of molesting a young girl more than five years ago in Donegal Township.

State police last week charged Jeremy Wayne Green, 38, with two felony counts of corruption of minors and two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years old.

Investigators filed the charges after the girl, who is now 13, detailed her allegations in May during an interview at the Butler County Children and Youth Services office. Police also interviewed the accuser.

The child claimed Green inappropriately touched her at a home in Donegal Township in late 2009, according to court documents.

Police said investigators later spoke to Green, who admitted touching the girl’s private parts, documents said.

District Judge Lewis Stoughton on Thursday issued an arrest warrant for Green.
