Phyllis Ann Diehl
Phyllis Ann Diehl, 88, of Butler passed away Friday at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on Sept. 16, 1926, in Butler to the late Clifford T. Dum-baugh and Pearl Youkers Dumbaugh.
Mrs. Diehl was a Protestant.
She worked at the T.W. Phillips Gas and Oil Co. before her marriage, and then she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Diehl was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed attending bridge club. She also enjoyed her family and all the associated activities. Mrs. Diehl enjoyed all sports events.
Mrs. Diehl is survived by her three sons, Clifford Diehl and his wife, Kathy, Randal Diehl and his wife, Sandi, and Craig Diehl and his wife, Karen, all of Butler; her daughter-in-law, Patti Diehl of Butler; her five grandchildren, Jennifer Mueller and her husband, Jeffrey, of Gibsonia, Jeffrey Diehl of Avon Lake, Ohio, Lisa McMaster and her husband, Jeffrey, of Butler, Christine Creely and her husband, Chad, of Butler and Lindsay French of Butler; her seven great-grandchildren, Emily, Matthew and Kathryn Mueller, Taylor Diehl, Matthew and Nathan McMaster and Alayna Creely; her sister, Nancy Farinelli and her husband, John, of Butler; her brother-in-law, Robert Masters of Butler; and her several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell C. Diehl, who passed away on April 13, 2013; her son, Russell D. Diehl; her grandson, Jonathan French; and her two sisters, Marie Russin and Sally Masters.
Her family offers a very special thanks to her many wonderful caregivers.
Diehl— A private visitation and funeral service for Phyllis Ann Diehl, who passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, was at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Butler, with Pastor Brandon Lenhart of the North Main Street Church of God officiating.
