Paul H. Magill
Paul H. Magill, 89, formerly of Maple Avenue, Evans City, passed away Monday morning in Shelbourne Personal Care, Butler.
Born on April 21, 1925, in Jackson Township, he was the son of the late Samuel Jr. and Mamie Rape Magill.
Paul was a member of the Old Union Presbyterian Church, Mars.
He worked for the Seneca Valley School District as a janitor at the Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School for 26 years.
Paul was a member of Plus Sixty of Evans City. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards and being Santa Claus during Christmas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, June M. Mentch, on Dec. 14, 2002; his second wife, Barbara Mahan Spangler Magill, on Dec. 2, 2013; and his two brothers.
Paul is survived by his two daughters, Marie (Timothy) Barada of Ohio and Betty (Robert) Cuccaro of Harmony; his five sons, Paul M. (Muriel) of New York, Mark A. (Judy) of North Carolina, Kim S. (Beth) of New York, Daniel J. (Kathy) of Butler and Boyd C. of Evans City; his 16 grandchildren; his 12 great-grandchildren; his three stepdaughters, Rae Ann (Steve) Payne, Karen (Howard) Updyke and Cheryl Clark, all of Ohio; his stepson, Harold Spangler of Tennessee; his 10 stepgrandchildren, and his 11 step-great-grandchildren.
MAGILL — The friends of Paul H. Magill, who passed Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.
