Mabel L. Sue Goldstrom, 88, of New Brighton, formerly of Cranberry Township, passed away Dec. 21 at Rochester Manor in Rochester.

She was born Jan. 4, 1926, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Elmer and Mabel Jones Grubbs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Goldstrom, and her brother, Elmer “Mike” Grubbs.

Surviving are her son, Kurt Goldstrom and his wife, Jody, of Economy Boro, and her daughter, Gail Reed of New Brighton. Also surviving are her five grandchildren, Melanie (Eric) Richter of Callery, Kristin (Brad) Oeder of Sewickley, USAF Staff Sgt. Eric Goldstrom and his wife, Michelle, Amanda (Rick) Bubb of Elwood City, and Maxx Reed of New Brighton; and her six great-grandchildren.

Goldstrom— Funeral services for Mabel L. Sue Goldstrom, who passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, will be private.Interment will be at Dutilh Methodist Cemetery in Cranberry Township.
