Butler girl lands role on teen talk show
Jessica McNulty of Butler has been cast in “Ttys … The Teen Talk Show,” a Pittsburgh-based production set to air in mid-February.
“Ttys” is texting shorthand for “Talk to you soon.” Show originator and producer Jillian O’Neil of Mars, president of the independent production company Wright Road Productions, said the show features teen panelists and segment hosts reviewing and discussing topics of interest to teens.
Regular segments on the half-hour show will feature teen fashions, news, movies, tech reviews, video games, sports and students making a difference. Jessica will be one of the segment hosts.
A senior at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Beaver County, Jessica was one of 300 teens who submitted audition tapes for the show.
The show is to air at 9:30 beginning Feb. 14 on Channel 53.
Jessica is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Timothy McNulty of Butler.
She has appeared in a number of community theater productions by Butler Little Theatre, Comtra Theater, Improvables, Butler County Community College Conservatory, and the Hobnob Theater Company. She was a finalist in the 2013 Miss Junior Teen Pageant-Pittsburgh.
