Orrin Miles Bedell Jr., 64, of Butler passed away Dec. 7 at Butler Memorial Hospital due to complications following heart surgery. Many of his friends and family knew him as Butch Bedell.

Orrin was born on Dec. 24, 1949, in DuBois to the late Orrin Miles Bedell Sr. and Louise Bedell.

He is survived by his wife, Sandie Bedell, and their two children, Sean Bedell and Kayla Bedell of Butler. He also is survived by his children, Heather Bedell Machmer and her husband, David, of Erie, and Eric Bedell and his wife, Leah, of Cranberry Township; his seven grandchildren; and his sister, Karen Bedell Albright and her husband, Donald, of Hampstead, Md.

Orrin loved watching football, cooking and spending time with his grandson, Phoenix.
