MIDDLESEX TWP — Police are searching for a 17-year-old girl who has been missing since last month.

Township police said Cheyanne Eichenaur was last seen by her family Dec. 14 at her home.

It is believed her disappearance is voluntary and that she may have left the state, police said.

Cheyanne has medium-length, dark brown hair with red highlights. She wears black rim glasses, and she may be wearing bright orange and black high-top tennis shoes and a light blue sweat shirt.

She also has her belly button pierced.
