Nicholas T. Josephs

Nicholas T. Josephs, 54, of Renfrew passed away Friday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice following a courageous one-year battle with cancer.

He was born on Feb. 4, 1960, in Butler to Donald Josephs and the late Mary Ann Valensky Josephs.

Nicholas was Syrian Orthodox. He had been a mechanic at L.J. Forcht Motors and at Steiner's Service Station. Nicholas enjoyed helping his friends with mechanical things.

Nicholas is survived by his father, Donald Josephs; his daughter; his granddaughter; his three brothers, Norman Josephs and his wife, Brenda, of Harlansburg, Rick Josephs and his wife, Mary, of Butler, and Donald Josephs Jr. of Saxonburg; his sister, Tina Lamaison of Nashville, Tenn.; his niece; his two nephews, and his longtime friend, David Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Valensky Josephs, who passed away on Dec. 2, 2012, and his son, Tom Josephs.

Josephs— In honoring Nicholas's wishes, there will be no visitation for Nicholas T.
