Gas is cheap, but apparently not cheap enough
You would think that gas is at such as low price that people would not need to steal it.
But apparently that is not the case. Some people want it for free, according to the state police.
Someone siphoned diesel fuel from a triaxle truck in a vacant lot adjacent to the Pacific Pride station along Route 422 in Summit Township sometime between Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
Police said the suspects fled after stealing about a quarter tank of fuel from the rig owned by McClymonds Trucking of Portersville.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 724-284-8100.
