William “Frank” Bell, 94, formerly of Green Tree, passed away peacefully Friday.

He was the husband of the late Laura Frazier Bell; the beloved father of Robert Lee (Rita) Bell of East Lyme, Conn., and Frank D. (Betty Fitzgerald) of Prospect; and the brother of the late Geraldine Gibson and Mary Katherine Boreing. He is survived by six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Frank was a decorated World War II veteran with the U.S. Army.

He was a former employee of J&L Steel for more than 38 years.

Bell— Visitation for William “Frank” Bell, who passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Schepner-McDermott Funeral Home, 165 Noble Ave., Crafton, Pittsburgh.The blessing service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
