Joyce Elaine Zietz, 62, of West Deer Township passed away Monday at her home.

She was born on Aug. 15, 1952, in Pittsburgh, to Stella Vidmar Hughes and the late Joseph Hughes.

Mrs. Zietz worked as a registered nurse for St. Margaret’s Hospital in Aspinwall.

She was an avid antiques collector who enjoyed going fishing and cherished the Christmas season.

Surviving Joyce are her loving husband of 41 years, George Zietz Jr.; her sons, Jason John (Jennifer) Zietz of Albion, George Douglas (Erin) Zietz of Maine and Matthew Alan (Susan Harris) Zietz of Butler; her daughter, Robin Elizabeth (Chad) Callen of North Apollo; her grandchildren Maiden, Jason, Isaac, Savannah, Sydney, Addy, and Ellie Zietz, Dean, Alayna and Eli Callen, and Casey, Conner and Reid Harris-Zietz; her brother, Mark Hughes of Millvale; her sister, Sandy (Bill) Hollsinger of Michigan; her mother, Stella Hughes of Sharpsburg, and her sister-in-law, Joyce Hughes.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Hughes.
