Brenda Hendrick

Brenda A. Hendrick, 60, of Butler passed away at 10:15 a.m. Friday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born on June 6, 1954, in Canton, N.Y., to Beverly J. Hendrickson Hendrick Gordon and the late Russell E. Hendrick.

In her earlier years, Brenda lived in Cranberry Township and worked as an insurance broker in the Pittsburgh area. She then worked for Mitchell Insurance in Butler as an insurance broker.

Brenda attended the First United Methodist Church in Butler.

Brenda is survived by her son, Drew Kretz and his wife, Jolyn, of Allison Park; her two grandchildren, Skye Kretz and Hunter Kretz; her mother, Beverly J. Hendrickson Hendrick Gordon and her husband, Richard, of The Villages, Fla.; her step- mother, Ann Hendrick of Cicero, N.Y.; her two sisters, Kathryn Hart and her husband, James, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and Judy Hendrick of Phoenix, Ariz.; her two brothers, Wayne Hendrick and his wife, Tammy, of Baldwinsville, N.Y., and Thomas Hendrick and his wife, Connie, of Moon Township; several stepsisters and stepbrothers, and a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Barbara La Plante.

Hendrick— There will be no public visitation for Brenda A. Hendrick, who passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014. Private burial will take place in the Hermon Cemetery, Hermon, N.Y., at the convenience of the family.Arrangements are by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Memorial donations are suggested to the First United Methodist Church, 200 E.
