Jeffrey Wayne Pierce, 46, of Butler passed away Wednesday at his home.

Born on Jan. 30, 1968, in Butler, he was the son of the late Paul E. Pierce and Donna Jean Stoker Pierce.

Jeff had devoted 24 years to Penn United Technology as a plating technician.

Jeff was a loving father and grandfather. He was such a kind-hearted guy who would do anything for anyone at anytime.

He was a member of the East Butler Hunting and Fishing Club. He had a fishing pontoon that he enjoyed sharing with friends and family, making many memories. He was very smart and mechanically inclined. He was always wanting to teach someone something.

He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and had an incredible bond with his grandson, Hunter, for whom he was the primary baby sitter. He did everything possible to make sure his loved ones were taken care of. Jeff was also an avid outdoorsman.

Surviving are his two daughters, Stephanie (Roy Horne) Pierce of Butler and Autumn Pierce of Butler; his son, Dalton Pierce of Butler; his grandson, Hunter; his sister, Vicky (Bob) Pender of Butler; his three brothers, Tom (Karen) Pierce of Butler, Leonard (Tina) Pierce of Slippery Rock and Scott (Mary) Pierce of Chicora; and his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepson.

Pierce— The friends of Jeffrey Wayne Pierce, who passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at theFox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev.
