Lynne Ann DeFoggi, 72, of Butler passed away Saturday afternoon at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.

Born on Aug. 17, 1942, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late James L. Faber and Wilda M. Schnur Faber.

Lynne worked as a nanny and caregiver for 25 years.

She was a member of the St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, who enjoyed reading, scrapbooking and being with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Lisa Dimun of Butler, James DeFoggi of New Brighton, Melissa DeFoggi of Butler and Scott DeFoggi of Zelienople; her four grandchildren, Susan Dimun, Katelyn Perry, Cole DeFoggi and Aiden DeFoggi; her great-granddaughter, Willow Perry; her brother, Dennis (Patricia) Faber of Evans City; and her niece, Alyson Krumpe. She was also the beloved nanny of Lydia, Joey, Laura and Monica Caparosa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James S. DeFoggi, who she married on May 27, 1961, and who died on June 5, 2003, and her brother, Daryll.

DeFoggi — The friends of Lynne Ann DeFoggi, who passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, 1660 N. Main St. Ext., Butler, with the Rev. Nick Argentieri, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Herman.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in c/o the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
