Phyllis E. Raducz Weiss, 63, of Ross Township, formerly of Saxonburg, passed away Tuesday peacefully in her home after a long illness.

She was the beloved wife for 40 years of Hal Weiss; loving and proud mother of Sarah (Stefan Epprecht), Rebecca (Justin Endler), Elizabeth (Jeff Swartz), Emily (Matt Ogden), and Jennie; devoted grandmother of Gus; sister of Carol “Cookie” Abdelnour, Janet Martinez, Seba “Butch” Michaels, John Raducz, Susan Hamilton, and Frank Raducz, and daughter-in-law of Erwin Weiss. She also is survived by her loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends, and relatives, and her loving cat, Sophie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Seba Raducz.

Phyllis was well-known in the area for her beautiful crafts. She was the Homecoming Queen at Knoch High School in 1969. Phyllis was fun-loving, brave, family-oriented, and truly one-in-a-million.

Weiss — The friends of Phyllis E. Raducz Weiss, who passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross Township, with reflections to conclude each evening visitation.In lieu of flowers, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help cover funeral costs.
