Carol Ann DeCorte Balint

Carol Ann DeCorte Balint, 66, formerly of Butler, passed away Aug. 8, 2014, in Melbourne, Fla., after a short illness.

She was born on Dec. 13, 1947, to the late Charles E. DeCorte, a 20-year retiree of the U.S. Air Force, and the late Charlotte Streiner DeCorte.

Carol was a graduate of Butler High School and worked at the Butler Junior High School before moving to Melbourne, Fla., in 1985. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star 45 in Butler. She enjoyed art, reading, crafting and loved to cook. She loved to travel and had traveled around the world.

She is survived by her daughters, Becky Balint Schultz of Colleyville, Texas, and Renee Balint Lyon (Tim) of Butler; three grandsons, Corey, Jarret, and Brady; and her sister, Dr. Margaret S. DeCorte of Ottawa, Canada.
