Lee Benner, 68, of Duluth, Ga., passed away Sunday.

A lover of the outdoors, Lee was born in Allentown and was a controller, retired from Great Commission Publications. Since his retirement, he was very active in mission work for the Cherokee Nation.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Benner; his sons, Matthew Benner and his wife, Teresa, of Atlanta, Ga., and Gregg Benner of McDonough, Ga., and his daughters, Lori Jackson and her husband, Josh, of Decatur, Ga., and Rachel McMurry and her husband, Daniel, of Monroe, Ga. He was also a devoted grandfather to Jordan, Emma, Eli, Owen, and Graham.

Benner— The family of Lee Benner, who passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Peachtree Corners Presbyterian Church, 5918 Spalding Drive, Peachtree Corners, Ga.
