Martha Dee McFeely

Martha Dee McFeely, 87, passed away at 11:10 p.m. Monday at Grove Manor Personal Care.

A daughter of Newton W. and Mattie Shelton Uselton, she was born May 25, 1927, in Tullahoma, Tenn.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Church of the Beloved Disciple, and she enjoyed quilting with the women of the church. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and she was an excellent cook.

Martha treasured the time spent with her family and was always ready with a helping hand.

On May 22, 1943, she married William Joseph McFeely Jr. He died Aug. 23, 1995.

Surviving are her two sons, Lawrence J. (Kimberly) McFeely of Boyers and Daniel P. McFeely of Harrisville; her daughter, Sandra J. (Jeff) Fleming of Foxburg; her daughter-in-law, Sally L. McFeely of Grove City; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by her son, Steven Paul McFeely, and eight brothers and sisters.

McFeely— The friends of Martha Dee McFeely, who passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St. Harrisville.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael P. Allison, pastor of the Church of the Beloved Disciple, officiating.
