Diane E. “Doog” Patton, 70, of East Brady passed away Wednesday at her home.

Born on Aug. 14, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Loren Amos and Elizabeth F. Sutton Boyle.

On June 24, 1967, she married Robert G. Patton. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2012.

A 1962 graduate of East Brady High School, Doog spent her career cooking at many local restaurants including the Plaza Pantry, the All Stars, the Hillcrest, Allegheny Hills, and her daughter Renee's St. Cloud Hotel.

Doog was a volunteer EMT with East Brady Ambulance and a member of the East Brady VFD Auxiliary.

Doog was a huge Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins and Steelers fan. She loved playing cards and bingo and most of all loved times spent with her family.

Doog is survived by her daughter, Renee Patton of East Brady; her two sons, James “Chud” Patton and Robert “Bub” Patton, both of East Brady; her three grandchildren, Matthew, James and Kayla Patton, and her great-grandson, Carson.

She is also survived by her two sisters, Patricia (Gary) Ekas and Jean (Lenny) Livengood, both of East Brady; her sister-in-law, Linda Boyle of East Brady; her three brothers, Robert (Judy) Boyle of Stafford, N.Y., and Thomas (Janice) and Steven (Carol) Boyle, both of East Brady, her mother-in-law, Alice Toy of Kittanning, and her favorite dog, Benny.

In addition to her parents, Doog was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her infant son; her sister, Bev Corle, and her brother, Deacon Boyle.

Patton — The friends of Diane E. “Doog” Patton, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Buechele Funeral Home, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Pastor Mark Hillwig of the East Brady Baptist Church officiating. Private burial in St. Eusebius Cemetery will follow.The Patton family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the East Brady Ambulance, P.O.
