Robert “Bob” L. Bowser, Sr., 60, of Butler passed away Saturday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born on May 1, 1954, in Butler, the son of Katherine Dunn Stewart of Pittsburgh and the late Paul Bowser Sr.

Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

He owned 2 B's Auto Repair.

He was an avid Steelers fan who enjoyed working on old cars.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Joy Bowser, who he married on May 22, 1993; his daughter, Jennifer Lash of Washington, D.C.; his two sons, Robert Bowser Jr. of Butler and Jeffrey Bowser of Natrona Heights; his stepson, Kyle Cumberland of Butler; his grandson, Rhys Lash; his granddaughter, Scarlett Cumberland; his sister, Mary Kay Eury of Pittsburgh, and his brother, Paul Bowser Jr. of Florida.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Bowser.

Bowser Sr., who passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
