PLUMCREEK TWP, Armstrong County — A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash along Route 422 this morning.

Armstrong County Deputy Coroner Brian Myers said an Armstrong County woman, who he would not identify, was traveling eastbound at around 10 a.m. when icy road conditions likely caused her to cross the center line. Her Dodge Caravan was struck by a tractor trailer from R.A.M. Transit Lines of Clinton Township.

Myers pronounced the woman dead of blunt force trauma.

State police in Kittanning are investigating the crash.
