County 2015 budget won't raise property tax
Butler County residents aren’t facing a county property tax hike for 2015.
County Commissioner Bill McCarrier, board chairman, said no one has mentioned the prospect of a millage increase.
Chief county clerk Amy Wilson confirmed today the proposed 2015 budget, which will be presented in detail at the commissioners meeting Wednesday, keeps the tax rate the same as this year’s 24.6 mills.
