Noah Kenneth 'Kenney' Beachem
Noah Kenneth “Kenney” Beachem, 88, of Butler passed away at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at his home.
Kenney was born on Dec. 6, 1925, in Kiester. He was the son of the late Harry Kenneth Beachem and Emma Gardner Beachem.
Kenney was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany and England during World War II.
Kenney was a member of the Muddycreek United Presbyterian Church, Butler.
He had been a welder at Pullman Standard and retired after 30 years of employment.
Kenney loved his family, farming, hunting, fishing and having parties when everyone gathered together. He frequently said life is nothing without kids.
Kenney is survived by two daughters, Barbara J. (Robert) Reynolds and Joan Smaldone, both of Alabama; his son, David (Vickie) Beachem of Butler; his 13 grandchildren; and his 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Marguerite Reeder of Mt. Chestnut, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kenney was preceded in death by his wife who he adored, Gwendolyn Beachem, who passed away on Nov. 23, 2013, as well as two sisters and his brother.

Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, with Paul Cashdollar officiating.
