W. Larry Yoakum, 85, of Katy, Texas, formerly of Middlesex Township, passed away Sunday.

He was the beloved husband of 64 years of Dolores Wilson Yoakum; loving father of Michael (Parinee) Yoakum of Houston, Texas, and Mark Yoakum of Katy, Texas; brother of James (Barbara) Yoakum of Butler, David (Joann) Yoakum of Bakerstown and the late Mary Lyvonne, and grandfather of Justin, Jason, Lauren, and Courtney.

A Korean War U.S. Army veteran, Walter was a member of the Local 66 Operating Engineers for more than 50 years.

Yoakum— The friends of W. Larry Yoakum, who passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, will be welcomed from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
