Sharon L. Hillwig

Sharon L. Hillwig, 69, of Hilliards passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born on June 9, 1945, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Earl L. and Paula V. Wick Anthony.

On Sept. 22, 1962, Sharon married Larry A. Hillwig.

Sharon was a paraprofessional with the Moniteau School District for 15 years. She was a volunteer at the Butler County Humane Society who enjoyed gardening and dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of East Brady.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Larry, of Hilliards; her two sons, Larry A. (Thomas Stokes) Hillwig Jr. of Jersey City, N.J., and Bryan K. (Rhonda) Hillwig of Clayton, Ill.; her daughter, Jill P. (Nathan) Hall of Renfrew; her three brothers, Paul Anthony of Petrolia, William Anthony of Butler and David Anthony of West Sunbury; her two sisters, Janet Shuler and Debra Duncan, both of Butler; her stepmother, Jane Anthony of Butler; her grandchildren, Lisa, Kimber and Jacob Hillwig, and Cooper Hall, and her great-grandson, Jace Jarrod.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter and her brother.

Hillwig— The friends of Sharon L. Hillwig, who passed away Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at theBuechele Funeral Home, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady.Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. to time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, East Brady, with the Rev.
