Portersville Christian performs 'The Diary of Anne Frank'
PORTERSVILLE — Portersville Christian School will present “The Diary of Anne Frank” at 7 p.m. today through Saturday in the gymnasium, 343 E. Portersville Road.
Anne Frank was a Jewish girl who had to go into hiding during World War II to avoid the Nazis. Together with seven others she hid in a secret annex in Amsterdam.
After almost two years, they were discovered and deported to concentration camps. Anne’s father, Otto Frank, was the only one of the eight to survive. After her death, Anne became famous because of the diary she wrote while in hiding.
Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for college students, and $5 for students.
The cast includes Tealey Ingram, Nate Lattanze, Britney Yauger, Hope Merrill, Andrew Sloboda, Lily Russell, Will Arnold, Cole Woods, Leah Hoffer, Ethan Fisher, Caleb Yauger and Patrick Russell.
