David L. Fleeger

David L. Fleeger

David L. Fleeger, 70, of Butler passed away at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.

He was born on Sept. 13, 1944, in Ellwood City, to the late Daniel W. Fleeger and Ruth H. Guy Fleeger.

Mr. Fleeger was a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, earning a bachelor's degree in fine arts.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Germany during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Fleeger was the owner and operator of Corporate Events and Public Relations. He worked for the Pittsburgh Ballet and was the host of an evening magazine program in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Fleeger was a member of the Butler Symphony and Butler Musical Theatre Guild and a volunteer at the VA Butler Healthcare Hospital. He was a very active member of the Community Alliance Church, where his main interests were missions, Bible study and music. He cared deeply about everyone's salvation and his own.

Mr. Fleeger is survived by his numerous cousins.

Fleeger, who passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014.A memorial service will be later at the Community Alliance Church, Butler.Arrangements are by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Butler.
