Margaret M. Rock

Margaret M. Rock, 90, of Lyndora passed away Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.

Born on March 13, 1924, in Brady, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Hilovsky Ballon.

She was a member of the St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, Lyndora.

She was a homemaker and did seamstress work.

Surviving are her son, Michael (Maggie) Rock of Unionville; her three daughters, Barbara Eckels of Slippery Rock, Marsha (Danny) Cross of Ellwood City and Michele Rock of Middletown, Conn.; her four grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; her brother, Thomas (Kim) Ballon of Butler; and her four sisters, Louise Michaels, Dorothy (Richard) Fitzpatrick, Frances (Daniel Daurora) Sweesy and Karen Cihonski, all of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Rock, who passed away on Oct. 23, 2004; her granddaughter, Jenny Rock Limbers; her two brothers; and her four sisters.

Rock — The family and friends of Margaret M. Rock, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at theGeibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 303 Penn Ave., Lyndora, with the Rev.
