Jessie Mae Glass

Jessie Mae Glass, 78, of West Sunbury passed away at 11:42 a.m. Sept. 24 at Butler Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Jessie was born on Nov. 19, 1935, in Butler County.

She was the daughter of the late Charles R. “Chip” Williams and Helen Louise Shay Williams.

She attended the United Church of the Nazarene.

She had been employed at Digger's Diner, the Burger Hut and various other restaurants over the years.

Jessie is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. Glass; her son, Kenneth J. (Connie) Glass of Butler; and her four grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister, Mrs. William (Janet) Stansfield of Tennessee and her brother, Richard (Barb) Williams of Butler.

In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Glass — A memorial service for Jessie Mae Glass, who passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the West Sunbury United Church of the Nazarene, 544 Halston Road, West Sunbury, with the Rev.
