Alex W. Pimpsner
Alex W. Pimpsner, 93, of Clarksville, formerly of Gibsonia, passed away Wednesday.
Born on Oct. 30, 1920, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Jacob and Mathilda Warnick Pimpsner.
He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma Chessman Pimpsner; loving father of Janet Pimpsner of Carnegie and stepfather of Barbara Williams of Clarksville; and grandfather of Cathy and Daniel. He is also survived by his two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Colton.
A U.S. Navy World War II veteran, Alex was a retired locomotive engineer, a longtime usher at the Holy Sepulcher Church in Butler and a Fourth Degree Knight with Knights of Columbus Council 10175.

Pimpsner, who passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Holy Sepulcher Church, Glade Mills.
