The 2014 Leadership Butler County class recently rehabilitated the play area of the Victim Outreach Intervention Center (VOICe).

The project included fundraising for materials, organizing the work project and clearing and reconditioning the playground.

The 2014 class was chaired by Hope Pifer, Mars National Bank's assistant vice president of finance, and also included 21 other individuals from organizations in the county.

“I was humbled by the opportunity to work with such kind, caring and compassionate individuals.” Pifer said. “Twenty plus leaders with one common goal proved to be a formula for success.”
