Mathew Thomas McDougall
Mathew Thomas McDougall, 24, of Slippery Rock, Clay Township, Butler County, passed away Wednesday at his home.
He was born on May 12, 1990, in Butler to Lesa McDougall and Robert Grossman.
He was employed at Sipple, Washington, as a heavy equipment operator.
He attended the United Church of the Nazarene, Claytonia.
The loves of his life were his children. He enjoyed family gatherings where he was the master BBQ chef.
He attended Moniteau High School.
Survivors include his two sons, Kameryn McDougall and Landon McDougall, both of Slippery Rock; his mother, Lesa McDougall of Slippery Rock, and his father, Robert Grossman of Slippery Rock; his maternal grandmother, Sally McDougall of Slippery Rock; his grandmother, Cynthia Foster of Slippery Rock; and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas C. McDougall Sr., and his grandfather, David Foster Sr.
McDougall— The family of Mathew Thomas McDougall, who passed away Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Leon Blaise, pastor of the Butler First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Interment will be at West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
