Continental Dukes German Band will play at Concordia Lutheran Ministries’ Oktoberfest celebration planned for 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Haven I, 112 Marwood Road, Jefferson Township. There will be a balloon artist, games, crafts, hayrides, a bounce castle, and a petting zoo. Zambelli fireworks will conclude the evening. Admission is free. Call 724-352-1571, Ext. 8266.

Succop Nature Park, formerly the Succop Conservancy, will host a picnic and music by Good Brother Earl from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 16. Information about the park at 185 W. Airport Road is available by visiting www.aswp.org.

Music in the Courtyard concert series will present The Rumblers playing oldies at 2 p.m. Oct. 19 in the courtyard at Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St. The free concert is hosted by the library and the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home. Refreshments will be provided.

Greater Harmony Chorus, an award-winning Sweet Adelines chorus based in the North Hills, will present a fall show at 4 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College. “Jukebox Saturday Night” attendees will enjoy a range of songs, including “We Are Family,” “When You Wish Upon a Star,” “Tuxedo Junction,” “Lean on Me” and “Dancing Queen.” Tickets are $15 in advance or $18 at the door. Glade Run’s second annual Harvest Hoedown Benefit will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Blueberry Hill Park Activity Center, Franklin Park, Allegheny County. Barbecue, bluegrass music by the Allegheny Drifters, auctions and raffles are planned. Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for children under 12.
