Stabbing suspect to get treatment
GREENSBURG — Westmoreland County Judge Christopher Feliciani has reversed himself and now says a teenager awaiting trial in a high school stabbing rampage will receive mental health treatment in a juvenile detention center.
Feliciani and the boy’s defense attorney couldn’t find a secure mental hospital willing to treat the Alex Hribal, 16, either because he’s a minor or because of security risks involved.
Hribal of Murrysville is charged with stabbing 20 students and a guard April 9 at Franklin Regional High School. They all survived.
