More state porn emails to be released today

HARRISBURG — More office emails containing pornography from the Pennsylvania attorney general’s office are expected to be released today in a scandal that has gripped the state Capitol.

Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s office today plans to release more of the emails containing hundreds of pornographic images and videos sent or received by eight ex-employees Kane identified.

The material was discovered during Kane’s review of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse prosecution.

Gov. Tom Corbett requested information on the emails before deciding whether four of the men who are employed in his administration should keep their jobs.

Environmental Protection Secretary Christopher Abruzzo and a lawyer in his department resigned Thursday.

Corbett spokesman Jay Pagni says Corbett believes that a third man, state police Commissioner Frank Noonan, did not participate in the email exchanges.
