Larry G. “Buck” Hoff

Larry G. “Buck” Hoff, 76, of West Sunbury passed away at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at his home following an extended illness.

Larry was born on Dec. 24, 1937, in Connoquenessing. He was the son of the late Charles W. Hoff and Manie Rinard Hoff.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was Nazarene by faith.

He had been a steel worker with US Steel in Saxonburg.

He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, camping and football, especially the Steelers. Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Krasovec Hoff, who he married on Oct. 28, 1961, and who was also his loving Angel and caretaker for the past 18 and a half years; his four daughters, Terri (Robert) Leroy of Cabot, Brenda Barnett of West Sunbury, Kimberly (Dale Hutchison) Hoff of Chicora and Carol (Brian) Bonos of Butler; his son, Larry (Barb) Hoff Jr. of Butler; his 11 grandchildren, Robert and Kristen Leroy, Zachary and Kaylee Barnett, Tarynn and Destinee Hoff, Jerod, Justin and Aaron Hutchison, and Austin and Jonathan Bonos; and his great-grandchildren, Isabella Leroy and Bentley Hoff. He is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Boben of West Sunbury; his sister-in-law, Brenda Krasovec of Renfrew; his two brothers-in-law, Bill Dellich of West Sunbury and Donny Krasovec of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Diane Sue Hoff; three sisters; and three brothers.
