Nancy L. Dillaman

Nancy L. Dillaman, 73, of Butler passed away Saturday at her home.

She was born on Sept. 24, 1940, in Butler County, the daughter of the late Robert and Isabel Tebay Patterson.

Nancy was a member of the Unionville Presbyterian Church. She had worked at Hills Department Store for 17 years. She loved cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her two daughters, Jacqualin (Ronald) Arblaster and Betty Walker, both of Slippery Rock; her three sons, Bernie Dillaman of Slippery Rock, Lanny (E. Jean) Dillaman of West Sunbury and James (Karen) Dillaman of Slippery Rock; her 15 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; her four sisters, Arlene (Donald) Young and Darlene (Chuck) Kay, both of Butler and Florida, Anna (Danny) King of North Carolina and Joyce (Joe) Novosat of Butler; her brother, Robert (Claudia) Patterson of Butler; her two sisters-in-law, Doris (Francis) Weiland of East Butler and Donna (Francis) McCall of West Sunbury; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Dillaman, who died on March 20, 2002, and a great-grandson.

Dillaman — The friends of Nancy L. Dillaman, who passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. Matt Kail, officiating.
