Larry W. Bowman

Larry W. Bowman, 74, of Harmony passed away Saturday at the Evergreen Health and Rehab Center in Harmony.

The son of the late Woodrow William and Mildred Gladene Spicher Bowman, he was born on May 4, 1940, in Gipsy, Indiana County.

Larry was a graduate of Zelienople High School.

He loved motorcycles and greatly enjoyed going on motorcycles rides.

Larry was an avid sports fan. For years he had loyally traveled with his mother to attend his nephews' baseball games so he could enthusiastically cheer for them and their teams.

He is survived by his brother, Gerald C. Bowman of Harmony; his two nephews, Kurt Bowman of Harmony and Scott Bowman and his wife, Diana, of Cranberry Township, and his great-nephew and great-niece, Miles and Ava Bowman.

Larry was preceded in death by his father in 1987; his mother in 2003, and his sister-in-law, Karyn Bowman in 2010.

Bowman — The family and friends of Larry W. Bowman, who passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, will be received from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rairigh Funeral Home, 18944 Route 286 Highway East, Hillsdale, Indiana County, with his brother, Joseph Luzier, officiating. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery, Decker's Point.
