Margie L. Ifft

Margie L. Ifft

Margie L. Ifft, 85, of Evans City passed away Friday while at the Creek Meadows Senior Guest Haus in Zelienople.

Born Feb. 27, 1929, in Cooperstown, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Anna (Wachsmuth) Lefever.

Margie was raised a Christian, and during her adult years, she attended the Beersheba Church in Prospect.

In the early 1950s, she proudly owned and operated her own beauty shop and then went on to raise turkeys and chickens with her whole family on their farm in Evans City.

In her free time, Margie enjoyed dancing, reading, using her green thumb to cultivate beautiful flowers and, most of all, she loved spending time with and cooking for her friends and family. Even in her final moments, Margie was always smiling and never complained. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. To learn more about Margie, refer to Proverbs 31:10-31.
