Gloria Fugini Sacharski, 87, of Avon Lake, Ohio, passed away at 3:15 a.m. July 31 at the Orchard Hospice Center in Ohio.

She was born on March 19, 1927, to the late Marie and Peter Fugini.

She graduated from Chicora High School in 1946 and from Butler Beauty School. She lived in Erie for a number of years, where she met her loving husband. They later moved to Ohio.

She enjoyed flowers and cooking, entertaining and visiting with her sisters. She was especially devoted to her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Avon Lake, Ohio.

Gloria was the loving mother of two sons, Bernard of San Francisco and Mark (Louise) of Amhurst, Ohio; grandmother of Adam, John, Thomas, and Adrian; and great-grandmother of Aiden and Aeris.

Gloria is survived by five brothers and three sisters, Lewis, Father Francis, Vincent, Alfred, Franklin, Bernadette Martin, Sylvia Pennington and Rosemary Rumbaugh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, and two brothers, Robert and Carl.
