Carol A. Ikenberg

Carol A. Ikenberg, 77, of Connoquenessing Township, formerly of Mars, passed away Monday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Evans City on Sept. 12, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Mary F. McConkey Livingston.

Carol was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church and the Mars American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are her son, Howard L. Ikenberg and his wife, Carole, of Renfrew; her grandchildren, Jason, Jessica and Ashley Ikenberg; and her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. “Ike” Ikenberg, who she married on June 11, 1955, and who died on Jan. 16, 2010, and by her sisters, Nettie Schaudt, Virginia Glaus and Wilma Hays.

Ikenberg — There will be no visitation for Carol A. Ikenberg, who passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2014. Services are private with burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Adams Township.Memorials may be made to the Mars United Presbyterian Church, P.O.
